While I can not say the quality is truly on par with those much more expensive nozzles, my limited experience with the budget option has me more than satisfied.I got this tip in expectation of purchasing a Prusa XL last year, but due to some unfortunate circumstances, those plans have not been possible yet. Even so, I have seen the performance of these carbide nozzles on my other machines and have been impressed. For printing abrasive materials, tungsten carbide is an excellent fit. Hardened steel is often used for this task due to its' toughness. The downside is that steel has poor thermal conductivity and can impact thermal control of the filament melting. Tungsten carbide offers vastly superior thermal conductivity, while being more tough than most materials on the planet. I do not know if it is possible to wear out one of these tips, but you would certainly spend a long time attempting to do so.The one achilles heel of a TC nozzle is that the TC is brittle. It will not handle impacts with hard surfaces well, and will likely crack. So be careful when using a TC nozzle to not ram it into things like a spring steel bed. These Durozzle nozzles are so cheap for what you get, it is worth it for experimentation alone.Give it a go.Price: $39.90 (at time of order)Quality: GoodValue: GoodVine Review Program Disclaimer:My goal, as part of the Vine program, is to provide clear and informant feedback on product details that matter to YOU.
